Itinerary

Day 1: Aqaba & Wadi Rum Jeep Tour

You'll start within the city of Aqaba, and walk through its colorful, picturesque little alleys. Then continue to Mamluk Castle – a 16th-century dreadnaught, offering a stunning panorama; in a single glance, you'll see Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. You'll have free time to enjoy beach activities such as boating+snorkeling, and fun at an awesome private beach with a pool and a Jacuzzi.

Next, you'll explore the fantastic Wadi Rum – a desert wilderness known as the "Valley of the Moon" – from the back of a powerful Jeep.

This outstanding tour will take you through the unique landscape, which is out of this world: The photos you'll snap will look like they were taken on a Star Wars set - both "The Rise of Skywalker" and "Rogue One" were filmed here (And for lovers of classics: "Lawrence of Arabia").

See famous rock formations such as the Seven Pillars of Wisdom, and learn about the exciting geology around you.

Finish the Jeep Safari at daylight's end, not before experiencing the unforgettable Wadi Rum sunset.

 Day 2: Petra Tour

Traveling along the Desert Highway we pass breathtaking desert and mountain scenery you won't forget. When we arrive in Petra you can choose to enter the city on foot or on horseback.

The Lost Nabatean capital is a magnificent archaeological site dating back about 2,300 years - and its most impressive structures were all carved out of the red-hued rock cliffs.

Here you will travel through the Siq, a beautiful smooth gorge that serpentines all the way to the famous Petra Treasury with its exquisite decorations.

See the captivating Obelisk Tomb, explore the Petra Theater and learn about forgotten times, take unique pictures, and marvel at the intricately decorated shrines as you walk down Petra’s ancient colonnaded street.

What are the regulations for Jordanian visas?
Tourists crossing the border into Jordan from Israel are required to have a visa. The tour company will assist you in the border crossing process, which could take over an hour. While making its best to speed up the procedure, the company isn't responsible for rare, unexpected delays. Please note: not all nationalities are eligible to receive a Jordanian visa at the border! Some nationalities require an entry visa to be obtained before travel. Make sure to contact the Jordanian diplomatic mission in your country well in advance to receive the necessary approvals, if you are of the following nationalities: Africa: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameron, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Djibouti, Equatorial Ghana, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zaire, and Zambia. Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Iran, Iraq, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Yemen. South and Central America: Belize and Cuba.
Can I bring my suitcase with me?
Absolutely, we can store your suitcase in the luggage compartment of the vehicle.
How long is the Bus drive to Petra? What does the Petra tour by Bus include?
The drive to the border crossing near Eilat will take about 5 to 6 hours. The border crossing process can take about an hour, and the drive to Petra itself will take 2.5 hours. The long drives are among the reasons some visitors prefer to take short, 1-hour flights from Tel Aviv.
What does the Petra tour by Bus include?
The tour includes transportation from the departure point to the border and to Petra and back; entrance to Petra; lunch, and a guided tour by a local guide. If your tour includes Wadi Rum as well, it will also include accommodations: a night of glamping in an awesome Bedouine desert resort. If you also stay a night at Petra, your tour will include a lovely hotel right next to the Petra Archeological Park.
