Day 01:   Arrive in Delhi (Room only)

Today, arrive Delhi, the capital city of India. After a traditional Indian welcome, you will be escorted to your hotel for 2 nights stay.

 

Day 02 Day in Delhi (Room + Breakfast) 

This morning enjoy the day discovering Delhi, pacing through the city which is as historic as modern, like 2 sides of the same coin! Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, which includes a visit to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, ‘silver street’, one of the largest trading centers of India; drive past Red Fort, the place that marked the announcement of India’s freedom from the British Raj; visit Raj Ghat, cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, afternoon discover the modern city of New Delhi, which includes a visit to Qutub Minar, a fine example Indo-Islamic architecture and the world’s tallest minaret; Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the largest Sikh temple of Delhi, with a gold tomb, still in active worship; Photo stop at India Gate, the war memorial arch built in honor of the soldiers who died in the second world war; drive past President's House, Parliament House and other Government Secretariat Buildings, the most imposing features of Lutyen’s Delhi

Day 03: Drive, Delhi / Agra (Room + Breakfast)

After breakfast, embark on your drive to Agra, city of the world famous Taj Mahal. Upon arrival in Agra, check in at your hotel and freshen up visit of one of seven world of world and the symbol of a love story of Mughal emperor Taj Mahal

This late afternoon, visit the Agra fort, lying across the River Yamuna, built in red sandstone with magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and beautiful gardens.

Day 04: Drive, Agra / Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (Room + Breakfast)

Early this morning experience the awe-inspiring beauty of the eternal symbol of love, the Taj Mahal. Often referred to as a poem in white marble, Taj Mahal displays the saga of love between Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. 

Continue drive to Jaipur, one of the most well planned cities of India and the capital city of Rajasthan, popularly known as the ‘Pink City’, was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, in 1727 A.D. 

En route to Jaipur, make a brief stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the red sandstone Mughal palatial complex. Within the complex lies a mosque built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and dedicated to Sheikh Salim Chisti, a Muslim Sufi Saint who blessed Emperor Akbar with a son.

Arrive in Jaipur and check in your hotel. This afternoon you can take a visit gem and carpet weaving factories, and shop for souvenirs. Jaipur is famous for its precious and semi-precious stoned jewels, enameled ornaments, beautiful carpets and other artefacts and crafts

Day 05: Day in Jaipur (Room + Breakfast)

This morning after a early breakfast leave from hotel to visit  Amber fort, a fine example of  Hindu and Muslim architecture and ornamentation, built in the 16th century. To reach the fort, you may choose to walk, drive or take an 

Elephant ride. This afternoon, visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, the largest astronomical observatory built in stone. Also drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a fine five storied building in the main street of the old city with sandstone windows.

Day 06: Drive, Jaipur / Pushkar (Room + Breakfast)

After breakfast drive to Pushkar, It has a picturesque valley, mountains, scenic spots along with and important pilgrim sites, which make it so renowned. It houses the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma. The flood of tourists to Pushkar increases during the camel fair. The locals are extremely hospitable and dress their best during this much-awaited fair. Their colourful veils, turbans and dyed skirts coupled with the sound of the ektara, a local instrument churning out soulful Rajasthani folk tunes, add to the charm of the place. 

Upon arrival check in and visit the Holy Brahma Temple and Holy Lake as well as local Village in the evening. Overnight at hotel. 

 

Day 07; Pushkar / Jodhpur (Room + Breakfast)

Today after breakfast check out and leave for the Rajasthan countryside to the ancient strongholded by the Rathore Dynasty in l459. Built on a high rocky cliff, it is a city of astonishing gardens and monumental palaces. Surrounded by a six-mile long wall punctuated by eight gates, the city dates to when its strategic location on the trade route between Europe and the Far East gave it great importance.

On arrival check in to the hotel followed by sightseeing tour of Jodhpur and visit Mehrangarh Fort; one of the largest forts in India, the beauty and grandeur of numerous palaces inside narrates a saga of hard sandstones yielding to the 

chisels of skilled Jodhpuri sculptures and to enter seven gates have to be crossed. It was built by Rao Jodha, the founder of Jodhpur city in 1459. The palaces in this fort have their own peculiar style, with narrow staircases, serving as the only means of access to the royal residence within. A collection of musical instruments, palanquins, furniture and cannons on the forts ramparts are well preserved. Also visit Old city; surrounded by a 10km long wall, has 8 gates serving as entrances, the winding streets offer colourful street markets with blue houses alternated with white houses and Clock tower; a prominent landmark. The new city is settled around this walled area

 

 

Day 08: Drive, Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur (Room + Breakfast)

(250 Km / 6 Hours)

After breakfast at the hotel restaurant check out and drive towards Udaipur, en-route pass lush green valleys, streams and heart capturing views before visiting Ranakpur. Renowned for its Jain temples with intricately carved marble Pillars and Domes, Ranakpur is amongst the five holiest places of the Jain community and exceptional in beauty. Tucked away in a remote valley in the Aravalli ranges, it boasts of one of the largest and most important Jain Temples in the country. It has a four-temple complex which is famous for its peaceful and harmonious surroundings. The temples are believed to have been built in 1439 A.D. The temple rests on 1444 elegantly carved pillars, with no two being identical and the realistic sculptures of celestial nymphs playing the flute in various dance postures at a height of 45 feet are a fascinating sight to see. The two huge bells weighing 108 kgs each, whose sound echoes in the entire complex, add to the temple’s allure. 

After the visit continue your travel to Udaipur. On arrival at Udaipur check in, rest of the evening to enjoy at leisure. Stay for two nights in Udaipur

 

 

Day 09: Day in Udaipur (Room + Breakfast)

Today after breakfast enjoy the sightseeing of Udaipur visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Museum, Jag Mandir and Saheliyon-Ki-Bari. Enjoy rest of the day on the banks of the Lake Pichola, which shines like a jewel in the crown of the city adding more grace and grandeur to it or optionally take sunset cruise or visit the numerous shops that dot the narrow windings streets of Udaipur

Evening enjoy the boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 10: Drive, Udaipur / Delhi (Flight) (Breakfast + Check Out)

After breakfast, day at leisure.

In time assisted transfer to Udaipur airport to board the flight for onwards destination
